From 3/8” OD to 12” IPS and from 3/8” wall to 4” wall, we have
all of the insulation necessary to insulate any type of piping
system. We stock Polymer Foam, EPDM Rubber and Fiberglass
Insulation. The Polymer Insulation is typically used in
Plumbing Applications. The EPDM Rubber Insulation can also be
used in Plumbing Applications but is most often times used for
Refrigeration and Chilled Water Systems. Fiberglass
Insulation is generally used in high temperature applications
such as boiler and steam lines. Insulation is necessary to
conserve energy and prevent condensation. Please see below
and see the different types of insulation we carry along with
some of the specifics surrounding the products.
Polymer Insulation
We stock Polymer Foam insulation ½”ID to 4”ID and from ½ Wall
to 1” Wall. This insulation is only available in 6ft
lengths. Polymer Foam Insulation is a self-sealing flexible
insulation. It is used to control heat gain, prevent
condensation and prevent heat loss on hot water systems. It
can be used in commercial, residential and industrial
applications.
Fiberglass Insulation
Fiber Glass Insulation is made from rotary glass fibers and
only available in 3ft lengths. It designed for iron pipe and
copper tubing. This insulation is unique in that paint may be
applied to the outer jacket after installation. The
fiberglass insulation is designed so that it will not soften
or separate when exposed to higher temperatures and can
withstand temperatures up to 850 degrees Fahrenheit.
Aeroflex Rubber Insulation
Continuous Tube
Aerocel® continuous tube and sheet insulation is a flexible,
closed cell and light weight elastomeric material designed for
insulating liquid cooling and heating lines. Aerocel®
continuous tube is available in 3/8”, 1/2”and 3/4” thickness,
and popular sizes up to 1 1/8” ID. The closed-cell structure
of Aerocel® continuous tube pipe insulation makes it an
efficient insulation.
White and Gray
Aerocel White/Gray 25/50 Tubular lnsulation is a flexible,
closed cell and light weight EPDM* based elastomeric material
designed for insulating liquid cooling and heating lines.
1/2", 3/4" and 1" wall, in popular I.D. sizes up to 2 5/8".
The closed-cell structure of Aerocel Pipe lnsulation makes it
an efficient insulation.
Aerocel CG
Aerocel-CG Tube and Sheet lnsulation is a flexible, closed
cell and light weight elastomeric material designed for
insulating liquid cooling and heating lines. Aerocel-CG is
available in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" thickness, and popular
sizes up to 1 1/8" ID. The closed-cell structure of Aerocel
Pipe lnsulation makes it an efficient insulation.
Aerocel SSPT (Stay Seal with Pro Tape)
Aerocel-SSPT(Stay-Seal® with Protape)Tube and Sheet lnsulation
is a flexible, closed-cell and light weight EPDM* based
elastomeric material designed for insulating liquid cooling
and heating lines. 3/8", 1/2", 3/4",1" , 1-1/4", 1-1/2",
2", 2-1/2" and 3" wall in popular I.D. sizes up to 10" IPS.
The closed-cell structure of Aerocel Pipe lnsulation makes it
an efficient insulation.
Aerofit Fitting Covers
Aerocel® AeroFit® Insulating Fitting Covers are designed for
insulating warm or cold piping fittings without the need to
field-fabricate these shapes, saving labor and providing
enhanced project performance. Aerocel® AeroFit® Elastomeric
Insulating Fitting Covers are supplied in ¼”, 3/8”, 1/2”,
3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2” and 2” thickness’, in popular I.D.
sizes up to 6” IPS, as copper 90° long-radius and short-radius
elbows, and copper refrigeration suction line P-Trap shapes.
Aerofix – U
Aerofix-U is a polymeric rigid foam hanger with a foam tape
inner lining which supports and absorbs vibration of operating
pipelines. The outer-cover consists of a special rubber tape
which seals the hanger completely after installation in order
to prevent condensation. Its strong closed cell structure is
ideal for liquid cooling pipes to prevent condensation and
save energy. It is used primarily for repairing and properly
supporting pipes in chilled water or refrigeration systems.
Tape and Glue
Aeroflex also offers a variety of tapes and glues to help
connect or repair insulation. These unique materials are
designed to handle a variety of temperatures and chemically
fuse to the insulation creating one solid unit.
